About the Project
Sellinger's Power Golf hired Digital Cube Designs to re-design their website. Sellinger's Power Golf is a specialty golf retail store based out of Roanoke, TX and is owned by two-time National Long Drive Champion and Long Drivers of America CEO and Owner, Art Sellinger. Mr. Sellinger wanted a website that more closely resembled the look and feel of his brick and mortar retail location. The shop includes things like plasma televisions, leather chairs and an overall warm, classy environment designed to make customers feel at home and part of the SPG family. The shop prides itself on best-in-class customer service and caters to the long drive community.
Digital Cube Designs started by creating a new store logo that more closely aligned with the feel of the shop. From there, we integrated a modern shopping cart platform to provide a better user experience. We then came back and created a website design that we felt closely mirrored the brick and mortar SPG environment. Finally, we added some exciting features including a video analysis section that will assist in increasing overall revenue for the site.
Our next project for SPG is a pay-per-click campaign using Google AdWords that will allow us to send targeted traffic to the Sellinger's Power Golf site. We will monitor the conversion ratio to ensure the highest possible ROI. We will also make sure the SPG site is in the best position to achieve top organic listing for important golf equipment related keywords. This process is known as search engine optimization.
To date, this project has been a tremendous success. Utilizing my golf retail and brand management background combined with a solid back and forth with Mr. Sellinger and his golf retail experience, we were able to take an ordinary web presence and make it extraordinary.
